Food crisis

Trying out my new-found style, I combined typography and illustration. Illustrating foods that would form the words 'hunger crisis'-- i thought was a genius idea (hahaha!). At least it was not something that i would predictably given the very cliche topic. So i was proud to come up with this idea.

870 million people are suffering from malnutrition in a time of escalating food crisis in the Middle East and Africa.

2013 first blogpost

Happy new year everyone! I'm sure it's not late for that. :)

For the hopes of not boring myself with same old same old illustration approach, here i am starting the year with something, a bit different (at lease for my own personal works). This will have to go untitled for now since i don't wanna trouble myself with whatever meaning there is behind this piece. I was just totally stretching my fingers and opening new windows. ;-)

Vector lines in one day

Three days ago i made two illustrations all in the same style. One for a small article and a celebrity portrait. I like doing this sometimes, not shifting style on illustrations specially within a day. It allows me to continue the momentum and explore a particular style. This is a happy-fun-loving-colorful and random vector lines. It's very easy and quick! Good for some rush tasks.

Scrap

Here is an example of "you can't please everyone"artwork. I was made to believe that i was on the right track. Suddenly a change of mind, this is not good enough. I would've wanted to include the rest on the details on this poster but, out of respect i will skip that one. I thought this was really awesome especially with the texts and other colors that wa in it. I'll make use of this artwork somewhere somehow.. gotta drop that project though! :)

Haaayyy... The details, just made me realized how time and effort i spent on this work. Scrapped!
