Benzema x Robben

A not-so usual rendering I use for match spreads, this is a watercolor portrait of Karim Benzema and Arjen Robben for the most anticipated Champion's League match this Tuesday.

Watercolor paintings

I think this is my first watercolor illustration for work-related stuff. I never brought my watercolor in the before because.. i don't know why. Anyway, these drawings are for a not-so-small article about women making money with home business.

There are laws that regulate home business in Oman, so they need to register it in the Ministry to avoid trouble!

 

Before this thing got printed, they made me change the $ sign to OR (Omani rial). Well, it makes sense but initially i thought of it already and figured that the dollar sign has always been the standard sign for moolahs. :D

Sketchbook Proj (my 2nd year)

This is my second year for the Sketchbook Project. The theme i chose is "Tears and Fears". A bit cheesy i know. This time around i decided to use watercolor as my main medium and didn't experiment a lot with other materials. Although i did use inks and acrylics here and there to polish a few pages.

Spending my Thursday-Off

My Thursday in Oman is my only FREE day. I usually go panic on what to do and how to spend the most out of my one and only day off in a week. But i always end up at home doing laundry or doing something more productive other than being online whole day available for chatting and catching up with friends and family. Although i haven't finished this yet.. will do in a few days. :)

Kill Me, My Incubus

I made the sketch of this a few months back (maybe 4-5 months ago). But after the whole pencil sketch, i left it lying in my watercolor paper stacks. Forgot about it. For a while there was a battle in my head whether to use watercolor or acrylic--part of the reason why i left it unfinished.

...is my 28th birthday. i found this very old watercolor painting i did (probably 3-4 years ago). i'm still trying to figure out the relation of this piece to my birthday or even today. i haven't published this. i'll figure it out tomorrow.

Mural Projects

This year, i seem to be getting a lot of mural projects. Not the traditional kind though, all in digital. Its been really fun and sometimes painful for my laptop. This usually eats up my drive C while I'm working in photoshop. Sometimes my PS would give up and say crappy stuff like LOW DISC SPACE. Which would go back to normal if i close the mural files. haaaayyyy but it's so much fun!

Street Konect

This old artwork along with 2 other old ones are featured by a new found friend on his site today. Well they are a group of local artists in Cebu city. I know them mainly as graffitti artists but streetkonect is not just street art, it's all varied and proud cebuano!
